The Law of the Impression of Increase is a key to your success and is based on the concepts of prosperity, abundance and increase. As Wattles states in “How to Get What You Want“: “To make every act and thought constructive, everyone must convey the idea of increase. Steadily hold in mind the thought of advancement for yourself; know that you are advancing toward what you want, and act and speak in this faith. Then every word and act will convey the idea of advancement and increase to others, and they will be drawn to you. Always remember that what all people are seeking for is increase.”
One of my favourite quotes is: “The very best thing you can do for the whole world is to make the most of yourself.” Wallace D. Wattles
According to Wattles, “the Advancing Man gives increase to another’s life”. So if you want to make your life better, set an example to others. Show others how they can also become rich through your actions. Become a living inspiration to others, exuding prosperity and gratitude. People pick up on that automatically and will want to be around you. Therefore, you will get rich yourself.
“Leave every person you come in contact with, with the impression of increase.” “The desire for increase is inherent in all nature; it is the fundamental impulse of the universe… Every living thing is under this necessity for continuous advancement; where increase of life ceases, dissolution and death set in at once.” From “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles.
When you form the habit of leaving everyone with the impression of increase, sending good energy to everyone you meet – whether you know them or not, and regardless of what their behaviors may be towards you, you will be abundantly rewarded. Develop the habit of edifying others and enriching others’ lives; then you will develop a new paradigm. Become consciously competent with this habit.
Here are some ideas:
- Start looking for what other people do well. Bring it to their attention. Let them know that you notice.
- Smile at everyone.
- Give sincere compliments and praise.
- Congratulate people.
- Help others succeed.
- Give them an idea that inspires them.
- Give gifts physically, verbally and mentally.
- Offer opportunities for advancement and development.
- Give another person something of greater value than what they have paid for it.
- Enlarge others with a positive mental attitude.
These are just a few examples and I am sure you will think of more as you develop this habit. Remember increase is good. Increase = more life and more success.
I’m sure you can think of people in your life who have offered an impression of increase towards you. It sure felt good, didn’t it? Now when we develop this habit, it will increase our abundance in countless ways.
Here’s to your success!
